Soccer Recap: St. Petersburg Catholic Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Petersburg Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lakeland Christian Vikings.

St. Petersburg Catholic hit Lakeland Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mateo Brannan, Issac Weidner, and Jacob Arias.

St. Petersburg Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 12-7-1. As for Lakeland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Coming up, St. Petersburg Catholic will head out on the road to challenge Shorecrest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shorecrest Prep will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something St. Petersburg Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. Lakeland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
