Maggie Boroski and Mya Dunlap were among the main playmakers for James Monroe as the former went 10-for-24 to rack up 22 points in addition to six boards and four steals and the latter shot 58% from the field en route to 18 points and three steals. Boroski has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kendall Long, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Wyoming East earned a 47-39 victory over Mingo Central on Wednesday.

James Monroe's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Wyoming East, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
