Softball Game Preview: Fallston Cougars vs. Notre Dame Prep

The Fallston Cougars will square off against Notre Dame Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fallston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.7 runs per game this season.

Fallston's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over Aberdeen. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of John Carroll.

Notre Dame Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fallston, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
