Football Game Recap: Mobridge-Pollock vs. McCook Central/Montrose

Mobridge-Pollock came into their contest this week averaging 34 points per game, but they fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They have to be aching after a bruising 37-8 defeat to McCook Central/Montrose on Thursday. The lax defense was uncharacteristic for Mobridge-Pollock, who until this game were averaging 9.56 points allowed.

The loss dropped Mobridge-Pollock's record to 8-2. McCook Central/Montrose's victory brought them up to 8-1.

The Tigers do not have any more games currently scheduled. As for the Fighting cougars, they will face off against Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. Both of those teams are strolling into their matchup after big wins in their previous games.
