It was a good run, but North Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Gilbert Indians. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

North Central may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4-1. As for Gilbert, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-9.

North Central has already played their next match (against Georgetown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gilbert, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Camden on the 18th.
