Basketball Recap: Soroco Comes Up Short

Soroco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Crested Butte Titans 64-23. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 78-19 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crested Butte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bridger Flores, who posted 17 points. Isaac Jennings was another key player, putting up nine points.

Soroco's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Crested Butte, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Soroco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-39 defeat against Nucla on the 14th. Crested Butte has also already played their next contest, a 67-59 win against Vail Christian on the 14th.
