Basketball Recap: Joshua Takes a Loss

Joshua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. Their2024 ended with a 66-49 defeat against the Shoemaker Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 52-45 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2018.

Joshua's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Shoemaker, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Joshua will be playing at home against Mansfield Summit at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Mansfield Summit will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Joshua surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shoemaker, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Temple at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
