Softball Recap: Hebron Hawks vs. Lewisville Farmers
Hebron won against Plano West last Tuesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Hebron Hawks had just enough and edged the Lewisville Farmers out 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Hebron sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Lucy Crowder made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Crowder has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Crowder was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
On Lewisville's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Moreno, who went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
