Volleyball Recap: Bayfield Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bayfield won the last time they faced Lac Courte Oreilles and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trollers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Trollers have beaten the Eagles on their court since August 27, 2019.

Bayfield walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Bayfield's win ended a five-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Lac Courte Oreilles, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bayfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Washburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lac Courte Oreilles will take on rival Mercer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
