Baseball Recap: Berlin Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Berlin and Prospect Mountain meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Mountaineers came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 10-4. If the Mountaineers were looking for revenge after losing 6-3 to the Timberwolves when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Berlin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Prospect Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Berlin will square off against rival Somersworth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Prospect Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Gilford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
