Athens Bible barely beat Cherokee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Indians on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Athens Bible's record now sits at 7-8. As for Cherokee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Athens Bible will be taking part in a tournament against Asbury at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherokee, they will head out to square off against Sheffield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
