Basketball Recap: Sharon Academy Comes Up Short

Sharon Academy lost against Arlington Memorial back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sharon Academy Phoenix fell to the Arlington Memorial Eagles 36-30. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sharon Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Arlington Memorial, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sharon Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Long Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Long Trail will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Sharon Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arlington Memorial, they will square off against Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington Memorial's defense has only allowed 26 points per game this season, so Twin Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.
