Baseball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn lost against Artesia on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 5-4. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Josiah Alcala and Angel Aguilar stepped up to the plate in a big way. Alcala went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI, while Aguilar went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Glenn is 2-1 when Aguilar posts two or more runs, but 5-15 otherwise.

Glenn's record now sits at 7-16. As for Artesia, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-7-1.

Looking ahead, Glenn will host Estancia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Artesia, they will welcome Anaheim at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
