Grapevine is a perfect 9-0 against Denton since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Grapevine duke it out with the Denton at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, Grapevine didn't have quite enough to beat Argyle and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Eagles are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Denton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Birdville, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by exactly four goals.

Denton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Grapevine, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Grapevine skirted past Denton 2-1 when the teams last played back in January. Does Grapevine have another victory up their sleeve, or will Denton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
