Baseball Recap: Bishop Snyder Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Trinity Christian Academy

On Friday, Bishop Snyder faced Trinity Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bishop Snyder Cardinals fell just short of the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors by a score of 5-4. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Conquerors recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Tripp Hannah put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hannah was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Snyder will challenge Stoneman Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
