In what's become a running theme this season, the Victory Christian Center Kings gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 85-44 win over Lake Norman Christian at home. Given Victory Christian Center's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Lake Norman Christian is ranked 413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Victory Christian Center's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Perry led the charge by scoring 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Myles Smith was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Victory Christian Center pushed their record up to 24-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Lake Norman Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Victory Christian Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-74 win vs. United Faith Christian Academy on the 9th. Lake Norman Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
