Baseball Recap: Blue River Valley Takes a Loss

Blue River Valley lost against Knightstown back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 14-2 to the Panthers.

Blue River Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HUNTER KRAUS, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. KYLER KECK also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Blue River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Knightstown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Blue River Valley will take on Wapahani at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Knightstown, they will face off against Union City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
