New Bremen lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Versailles, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Cardinals blew past the Tigers 23-4 on Tuesday. The Cardinals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory snapped New Bremen's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Versailles, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, New Bremen will square off against Fort Recovery at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
