Softball Recap: Oscar Smith Comes Up Short

Oscar Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Grassfield Grizzlies, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in April.

Oscar Smith saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebekkah Mills, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Oscar Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Grassfield, they pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Oscar Smith nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
