Volleyball Recap: NorthWood Panthers vs. Fairfield Falcons
NorthWood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on nine straight.
NorthWood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.
NorthWood is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. As for Fairfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-18.
