There's no place like home for the Jones County Coyotes, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They managed a 46-40 win over Highmore/Harrold on Saturday. For Jones County, this counts as revenge for the 67-45 defeat Highmore/Harrold walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Cooper Feddersen had a dynamite game for Jones County, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Feddersen has scored at least 25% of Jones County's points. Another player making a difference was Bryer Kinsley, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals.
The win got Jones County back to even at 1-1. As for Highmore/Harrold, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jones County will face off against Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Highmore/Harrold, they will head out on the road to face off against Wolsey-Wessington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
