Volleyball Recap: Riverwood Takes a Loss

Riverwood lost against Creekview back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 3-0.

Laney Hronchek paced Riverwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Hronchek got some help from Syler Lewis and her 25 assists. Carmen King and Taylor Clark kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Creekview was led to victory by Maile Rowley and Conley Campbell. Rowley had 18 digs and two assists, while Campbell had 19 assists and five digs. That's the most assists Campbell has posted since back in September. Harper Sanders also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Riverwood's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Creekview, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-15 record this season.

Riverwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Creekview, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pope on the 8th.
