Softball Recap: Roseville Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Roseville's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Nicolaus Spartans on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Roseville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for East Nicolaus, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Roseville Tigers challenge Del Campo Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roseville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Del Campo has averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for East Nicolaus, they will head out to face off against Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. East Nicolaus is facing Pierce at the right time seeing as Pierce is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
