Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Powdersville). Their defense stepped up to hand the Carolina Academy Trojans a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The win was familiar territory for Powdersville, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Powdersville pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three contests. As for Carolina Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.
