Basketball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

Ellsworth lost against Baldwin-Woodville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ellsworth Panthers lost to the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks on the road by a 36-18 margin. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ellsworth's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Baldwin-Woodville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellsworth will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Turtle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Baldwin-Woodville and Fillmore Central will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on December 28th.
