Volleyball Recap: Eagle Mountain Falls to Prestonwood Christian in First Game of Season

Eagle Mountain unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Prestonwood Christian Lions on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Eagle Mountain still got an impressive performance from Lexi Nichols, who had 25 digs and three assists. Nichols is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.

The victory was the 15th in a row (dating back to last season) for Prestonwood Christian, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Eagle Mountain will host Peaster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prestonwood Christian, they will take on Wylie in a tournament on Thursday.
