Volleyball Recap: Logan/Palco Comes Up Short

Logan/Palco lost against Cheylin last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Logan/Palco fell 2-0 to Cheylin. Logan/Palco has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13.

Lylah Voss paced Logan/Palco's offense, picking up five kills. Voss got some help from Breyer Delimont and her four assists. Finally, Voss was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Cheylin can attribute much of their success to Emily Serrano, who had 12 digs.

Logan/Palco's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Cheylin, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Logan/Palco and Cheylin will both be playing Decatur Community the next time they take the court. Cheylin will host Decatur Community at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Logan/Palco will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
