Basketball Recap: Clinch Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Clinch Wildcats lost to the Independent Athletic Ministries Ravens at home by a 92-76 margin. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Independent Athletic Ministries' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Miller, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 21 points and six boards. Miller's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Blake Delph was another key player, going 8 of 13 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clinch fell to 2-1. As for Independent Athletic Ministries, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Clinch will venture away from home to face off against Thomas Walker at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independent Athletic Ministries, they and Bethel Christian Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Independent Athletic Ministries is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.
