Basketball Recap: Horizon Christian Takes a Loss

Horizon Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 50-26 to the South Wasco County Redsides. While losing is never fun, Horizon Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while South Wasco County is ranked 117th).

Horizon Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for South Wasco County, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horizon Christian will welcome Lyle/Wishram at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Wasco County, they will challenge Trout Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trout Lake will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something South Wasco County surely won't give up without a fight.
