Soccer Recap: Nottoway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Buckingham last Thursday, Nottoway came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers on Friday. Nottoway were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Lunenburg Central's defense proved too tough.

Nottoway moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Lunenburg Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.
