Jefferson City saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 63-53 victory over the Parkway South Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jays.

Parkway South's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Swinton, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. Sam Duncan was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Jefferson City's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Parkway South, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Jefferson City will take on Southern Boone in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Parkway South, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-57 victory against Liberty on the 14th.
