Softball Game Preview: Ramona Rams vs. Indio Rajahs

The Ramona Rams will take on the Indio Rajahs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ramona's tournament run continued when they took on Vista Murrieta on Wednesday. Ramona lost 11-3 to Vista Murrieta.

Kylie Guzman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indio). They won by a run and slipped past Citrus Valley 9-8.

The team relied heavily on Jaeda Diaz, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Diaz is crushing it when it comes to home runs: she's launched at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Clover Cordova was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Indio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The victory got Indio back to even at 2-2. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
