The Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers are taking a road trip to face off against the Creede Miners at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Cripple Creek-Victor is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Cripple Creek-Victor came up short against Moffat and fell 43-36.

Meanwhile, Creede was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 48-42 to Moffat.

Cripple Creek-Victor's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Creede, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Everything went Cripple Creek-Victor's way against Creede in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Cripple Creek-Victor made off with a 58-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cripple Creek-Victor since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
