Baseball Recap: Live Oak Comes Up Short

Live Oak couldn't beat Orland on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Lions lost 16-6 to the Trojans. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Live Oak saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Carrasco, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Live Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Orland, their record now sits at 12-13.

While Live Oak had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
