Football Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles, falling 38-6. The Rams lost against the Golden Eagles in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 6-0 score last time.

Kayden Dooley threw for 30 yards.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will head out to square off against Lanett at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tallassee at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
