Preview: North White Vikings vs. Tri-County Cavaliers
North White has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Tri-County Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully North White focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, North White was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-Township, taking the game 45-38. The victory was just what North White needed coming off of a 65-24 loss in their prior game.
North White's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brenden Hood, who scored 16 points along with 4 steals, and Dane Hood, who scored 14 points along with 6 steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tri-County, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They fell 46-37 to Seeger on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Tri-County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while Seeger is ranked 205th).
The losses dropped North White to 3-3 and Tri-Township to 1-4.
North White couldn't quite finish off Tri-County in their previous matchup back in March and fell 43-40. Can North White avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
