It was a good run, but Sunrise Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 43-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Reno County HomeSchool Sabres. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Buffaloes came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Sabres are ranked 194th).

Sunrise Christian Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-2. As for Reno County HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Sunrise Christian Academy and Reno County HomeSchool's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Sunrise Christian Academy and Little River (who has only given up 25.46 points per game) will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Reno County HomeSchool will take on Smoky Valley Home Educators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, a team that's only allowed 26.81 points per game.
