Football Recap: Chester Volcanoes vs. Tulelake Honkers
Chester extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were dealt a 54-20 loss at the hands of the Tulelake Honkers. The Volcanoes lost against the Honkers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 58-0 score last time.
Grady Oswold threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns. Kevin Hughes was his top target, picking up 103 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Riet Graves rushed for 77 yards and one TD.

Robison is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 137 every time he's taken the field this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester will host Burney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tulelake, they will be playing at home against Hayfork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Honkers will need to watch out since the Timberjacks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
