After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bible Baptist Christian, Kings Way Christian School was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed by the Grace Christian Crusader to the tune of 62-29. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-14.

Tristin Philistin had an outrageously good game as he went 11 for 13 en route to 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Blasczyk, who went 7 for 13 en route to 12 points plus two blocks.

Grace Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thad Shuler, who had 12 points. Another player making a difference was Zechariah Griffith, who earned eight points plus two blocks.

Kings Way Christian School's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Grace Christian, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Kings Way Christian School and Sugar Hill Christian Academy will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Grace Christian, they will take on Peoples Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
