It was a good run, but Chapel Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Jordan Falcons 50-44. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

It was another big night for Rivers Knight, who almost dropped a triple-double on 18 points, ten boards, and nine blocks for Jordan. The game was Knight's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Ross Jr, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points and eight assists.

Chapel Hill's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-6. As for Jordan, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Chapel Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 39-33 loss against Riverside-Durham on the 4th. Jordan has also already played their next contest, an 85-45 victory against Northern Durham on the 3rd.
