Memphis big man avoids serious injury after imposing will on the rim

There will be a lot of highlights this week coming out of Las Vegas – the site of four major club basketball tournaments and temporary home to more than 1,000 teams.

But it's unlikely that there will be one more exciting – and scary – than this.

Memphis-based M33M Elite was taking on the Iowa Barnstormers on Thursday as part of the adidas Summer Championships when Isaiah Stokes got a clean look at the basket on a fast break and … CRASH.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound rising senior from Lausanne Collegiate (Memphis) devastated the rim and backboard, taking a scary fall in the process.

Stokes suffered a cut on his finger but was retweeting accounts of the incident shortly after.

M33M Elite won the game 60-51.
