There's no place like home for Morse, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Canyon Hills Rattlers 37-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Morse's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Esmailian, who threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. Esmailian's passing game has become a key predictor of the Tigers' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 3-4 otherwise. Morse's leading receiver De'Vell Green was Esmailian's top target yet again, picking up 101 receiving yards and one score.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Morse's defensive line and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Canyon Hills lost on Friday, don't look at Ma'Kahi Fields-Cook. Despite the final result, he rushed for 251 yards and three TDs. Fields-Cook's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 121 rushing yards. Taylon Sheriff got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Morse's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. As for Canyon Hills, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

As of now, neither Morse nor the Rattlers have any future games scheduled.
