St. Thomas Aquinas waltzed into their matchup on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Monday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-16.

Leading St. Thomas Aquinas to victory were Adriana Medrano and Sydney Guerrier. Medrano had 13 digs and two assists, while Guerrier had 12 assists. Guerrier is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Ava Alberani also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Thomas Aquinas was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

St. Thomas Aquinas' record is now 20-4. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
