Softball Recap: Hicksville Wins Going Away Against Crestview

Hicksville hadn't done well against Crestview recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Aces put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 15-4 win. This was payback for the Aces, who suffered a 7-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Lilly Porter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Sanders, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Hicksville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestview only posted a batting average of .316.
