Volleyball Recap: Twin Falls Bruins vs. Mountain View Mavericks
After flying high against Minico last Tuesday, Twin Falls came back down to earth. The Twin Falls Bruins fell just short of the Mountain View Mavericks by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.
Twin Falls took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-20, 24-26, 25-23, 16-14.
Twin Falls now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Mountain View, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Twin Falls' road trip will continue as they head out to face Mountain View at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Rigby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
