Basketball Recap: Apostolic Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Apostolic Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clayton-Bradley Academy Blazers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flames this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-48 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clayton-Bradley Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brandon Hagar, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Sam Cantrell was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points.

Apostolic Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Clayton-Bradley Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-17.

Apostolic Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 91-58 defeat against King's Academy on the 31st. As for Clayton-Bradley Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-50 loss against Temple Baptist Academy on the 3rd.
