Basketball Recap: Poland Comes Up Short

Poland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hamilton Emerald Knights, falling 67-27. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 653rd, while the Emerald Knights are ranked 122nd).

Poland's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hamilton, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Poland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Frankfort-Schuyler.
