Northside Christian Academy had won 14 straight games and Evie Godfrey did her part to make it 15 on Tuesday. The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders enjoyed a cozy 49-34 victory over the Augusta Christian Lions thanks in part to Godfrey, who posted 21 points and eight steals. Her evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Chaelyn Tifre was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times she's played.

Augusta Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makenna Ellis, who had 11 points, and Taylor Booker, who put up eight points.

Northside Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points per game. As for Augusta Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Heathwood Hall Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Augusta Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ben Lippen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ben Lippen will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Augusta Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
