Baseball Recap: Atholton Raiders vs. Mt. Hebron Vikings

Atholton took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Mt. Hebron, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Vikings 4-3. Noah Weinig was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Atholton's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
