Ryan Meredith Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, North Miami got the W thanks in part to Ryan Meredith playing the best football he has all season. Meredith rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for North Miami, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. They and Triton are set to duel on Friday.

Brock Benson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, North Judson-San Pierre got the W thanks in part to Brock Benson playing the best football he has all season. Benson rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Unfortunately for Caston, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Benson. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Benson saw the Comets), he rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Kole Wilcox Dazzles in North Judson-San Pierre Win
Kole Wilcox was instrumental in extending North Judson-San Pierre's winning streak to eight on Friday. Wilcox turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 139 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Caston, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Wilcox. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Wilcox saw the Comets), he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Rans Came Up Big in Pioneer's 28-21 Defeat
Pioneer was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Micah Rans did his best to prevent it. Triton had no answer to Rans as he rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Rans really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run.
The loss snapped Pioneer's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. Rans and Pioneer will take on North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Musall Makes It Two for North Miami
The second North Miami player making an appearance here is Lake Musall, and for good reason. He rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
For the year, Musall has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 74.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns.
